Kiln Rental
HVP is currently taking pieces to fire. We have a Bailey 10 cu foot kiln and a Skutt 7 cu foot kiln available.
For Bisque & Glaze firings (cone 04 bisque and cone 5/6 glaze) 6 cents per cubic inch.
For one firing (Bisque or Glaze Firing) 3 cents per cubic inch.
You can use your own glaze (cone 5/6)
$15/hr to dip at our studio with our glazes- please make an appointment. Includes a how-to lesson on glazing options and techniques
Please note: It is essential we know clay and glaze cone information, so please take a photo of the clay box & glaze jar. Runny glazes should be fired with a cookie provided by you and calculated with firing fees. The studio reserves the right to reject suspicious glazes or bad applications to prevent damaging other peoples work.
Wheel Rental
HVP is renting our Bailey wheel for $200/month (or $75/week) The wheel comes with a bucket of tools and 5 batts if needed.
Renters can purchase a box of Standard 240 or Laguna #50 clay at $50/box. Please call or email the studio for more information and details and arrange for a pick up.
